We set out to engineer a personal diary app that gives users absolute privacy and local data ownership. The challenge was integrating robust biometric authorization (PIN, Pattern, Fingerprint) alongside a rich, highly interactive interface that works smoothly on both iOS and Android.
Using Flutter, we built a beautiful, high-performing frontend. Data is stored locally in an encrypted SQLite database on the user's device, ensuring complete privacy. We integrated Local Auth biometrics and automated sync hooks using the Google Drive API to let users backup and restore their journals securely.
